Calcuta Jacket

A mix of tassels, Indian accessories, and arabesque embroidery, makes this jacket a classic from India.

I called it Calcutta because it’s the historical and cultural capital of India. It represents the country as much as the arabesque style does.

For the upper left side of the front I used embroidery strips with geometric and tribal shapes in modern colors with light touches.

I enjoyed  this project very much because mixing classic forms with bright colors gave a surprisingly good result.
