About me

Hello. My name is Camila Vera. I’m a fashion designer, and an embroidery and environment lover.

This personal project is about mixing different embroidery techniques to create garments, especially denim jackets, with a creative approach that satisfies mi clients’ needs for personal expression and fashion.

As for the process, I like having a clear and friendly communication with my clients, so I can translate what they want with my creative approach and technique.

As someone who loves nature and cares about the planet, I apply a zerowaste ethic to my work. This means I avoid using plastics and other harmful materials, and try to keep a low stock. For this, I only get jackets by order, and I also encourage my clients to provide me with a previously owned jacket. That way we bring a jacket back to life and reduce waste.

Since this is a personal artistic project that means so much to me, I use a slow fashion approach. It takes me about 3 week to complete a jacket without considering delivery times.
